Velbon Tripods

VELBON QUICK-RELEASE SYSTEM Many Velbon tripod heads incorporate Velbon's Quick-Release system. This consists of a removable quick-release plate (or quick-shoe) which can be locked into the tripod socket of your camera and left in place. This then allows (via a locking-lever on the tripod head) rapid attachment of your camera and detachment from the tripod as and when required. Tripods fitted with the quick-release system are supplied with one quick-shoe as standard and extras are available to purchase separately if required (in case you have more than one camera / camcorder / spotting scope etc.) (NB: In the Velbon catalogue, there are refences to 'Spare Quick release plate' - this is to indicate which plate to order if you require a spare, not that the tripod is supplied with more than one Quick Release plate as standard)
